Biography: I have owned, and recently rejuvenated a Meade 2080 LX5, which I bought in 1989 in memory of my dear Grandma. It has given countless hours of exhilaration and frustration sometimes in equal measure. I have rebuilt the gear box several times, and with the generous help of others, just added autoguiding via handset mod, relay board and ST4 output from camera - joy! My astrophotography is slowly improving. I use my ArgoNavis on this scope and a 3" refractor, to good effect.
